Reading at Café Blattwerk
At our Café Blattwerk in the Eifel region, we are gradually inviting exciting authors to an informative reading evening followed by a chat in a relaxed atmosphere. We have the second invitation to a reading evening on Norman & Vanessa, known on YouTube as " Buschfunkistan ", and we are very pleased that the two of them have complied with this.
About the book: "Almost too wild to be true"
Whether idyllic mountain meadows, mysterious moors, or a seemingly dull hedgerow - in their new book, Norman and Vanessa bring the everyday, but also the hidden, habitats to life in our minds. Together we travel with them through the various biotopes and learn how the creatures in these places are connected to one another, both large and small. We encounter cunning orchids that turn many an insect's head with nasty tricks and bittersweet shrews that kill their victims with their deadly saliva. But we also repeatedly encounter the web of mutual aid between the most diverse species. This book teaches us to better understand the habitats of our nature and awakens in us wonder, mindfulness, and love for them. Because in this way we recognize how we can protect these places of life and bring them back to life.
