Climate change poses major problems for forest owners. Drought and bark beetles & droughts are increasingly turning forestry operations from a source of income into a subsidy business. On the other hand, the demands of politics and society for more wilderness are getting louder. In our view, both can be elegantly and financially advantageously reconciled: In a forest-wilderness project, in which forest owners lease their land for the next 50 years in exchange for refraining from any intervention. This benefits both you, the forest owner, and nature in equal measure.
