Forest Rescue Trail

The Forest Rescue Trail leads through the beautiful forests of the Eifel region. The 14-kilometer circular trail starts and ends at the Forest Academy in Wershofen and is well signposted . During the approximately four-hour tour, you'll hike through five sections of our primeval forest project , among other things, and will find information signs we've placed here and there, introducing you to some of the special forest dwellers that live there. Enjoy the wonderful nature of the Eifel! After a successful hike, you can refuel at our beautiful Blattwerk forest café – we look forward to your visit!
