Guided walk of 3 to 5 km with breaks for conversation. Topic of your choice: trees, forest animals, forest protection. Water and snacks are included.

The team cooks and eats together in the forest, fully plant-based. For example a gnocchi and vegetable pan or a mushroom pan.

Trust and orientation exercises, fire making as a competition. Or calmer, with sensory and mindfulness exercises, if you prefer.

Is this suitable as a company outing or for team building?
Yes. For a company outing, the format with a walk and cooking in the forest usually fits best: the whole team can take part, no special fitness needed. For team building we add team games, such as trust and orientation exercises or fire making as a competition. As a corporate event after a meeting, the 2.5-hour walk is often enough.
How much does a team event cost?
Prices are flat rates for a group of up to 20 people, net plus 19% VAT: 2.5-hour walk €470, 3 hours €530, 4 hours with team games €679, with coffee and cake €719, with campfire bread and raw vegetables €759 or with cooking in the forest €829, 5 hours with cooking in the forest €929 and 6 hours with cooking and team games €999. For larger groups and special requests you receive an individual quote.
How many people are the team events suitable for?
From 5 people. A group has up to 20 people and its own forest expert. If you are more, we split into several groups, also for 50 people and more, and quote individually.
How far is it from Cologne, Bonn or Aachen?
The Waldakademie is located in Wershofen in the Eifel. By car it takes about 35 minutes from Euskirchen, around 50 minutes from Cologne and Bonn, just over an hour from Düren and Koblenz and around 1 hour 20 minutes from Aachen and Düsseldorf. What happens if it rains?
We go anyway, the forest is often at its most impressive in the rain. Sturdy shoes and a rain jacket are all you need.
What do we eat?
All food is plant-based, both when cooking in the forest and at Café Blattwerk. Just let us know about allergies and intolerances in your enquiry.
How demanding are the walks?
We walk on forest paths, 3 to 8 km depending on the format, at a relaxed pace with many stops. Tell us who is coming and we adapt route and pace.
Can we combine a team event with a meeting?
Yes, our meeting rooms are close to the forest. In winter there is a dedicated offer: the year-end meeting with 2.5 hours in the forest included free.
How short notice can we book?
Short notice is fine as long as a date is available. Just ask: on working days we reply within 24 hours and tell you what is possible.
