From mysterious communication to the sensory abilities of plants – our seminar opens the door to a hidden world waiting to be explored. Why do roots make sounds? What's behind the phenomenon of screaming plants? And can plants actually see?
Based on current scientific research, we delve into the fascinating world of plants. Experience two and a half days full of discoveries, interactive workshops, and magical moments in an inspiring seminar room and in the forest surrounding Wershofen. We'll also explore the question of whether plants are intelligent and even have consciousness.
Exciting discussions, practical examples and theory alternate with relaxing short hikes and outdoor learning sessions in the beautiful forests surrounding the Forest Academy.

Seminar objective:
- Get to know the wonderful senses of plants.
- Training in the critical use of information sources.
- Get an insight into current research.
- Relax as you move between the seminar room and the forest.
Please bring:
- Writing materials (notepad, pens).
- Notebook/tablet for small internet research (fast Wi-Fi is available)
- Comfortable clothing and shoes for the seminar room.
- Hiking boots and clothing for hiking.
- Backpack and water bottle.
Seminar times:
- Day 1: 2-6 pm including cake
- Day 2: 9am-4pm including lunch
- Day 3: 9am-2pm including lunch
