Between stone house facades and paved paths, numerous plants and trees live with us in the city. The fact that the living conditions differ significantly from those of the forest becomes clearly noticeable, especially on a hot summer day. Nevertheless, the green shines brightly among the gray tones of the concrete.

Rainer Harf, an experienced guide at Wohlleben's Forest Academy, is happy to take you on an exciting tour through the world of Cologne's urban trees. After a brief overview of facts and figures about Cologne's trees and the city's efforts, the route takes us from Groß St. Martin via Altermarkt to Wallrafplatz. On this short stretch, we encounter numerous different trees whose worlds are waiting to be discovered. Would you like to see the city through different eyes?
